“Wealth is what nature gives us and what a reasonable man can make out of the gifts of nature for his reasonable use.”

William Morris

Textile designer, poet, artist, writer and socialist activist 1834 - 1896

I have a long held passion for plants. The thrill and calm of being immersed in nature. Growing, tending and learning about them as a florist and gardener . My introduction to natural dyeing came from Christine Lewis Studio and Claudy Jongstra. This is an ancient craft and one that is fascinating to explore. It is seeing a welcome revival and with it the awareness of materials, thoughtful fashion and consumerism.

Using fresh and dried flowers, barks, fruits and leaves to create complex, shimmering colours that are unique and have an energy to them that is giving and uplifting.

Being completely compostable the garments and accessories can contribute to growth and renewal. After a long and happy life!
